Statistic Numbers:

-
Parents report that approximately 9.5% or 5.4 million children 4-17 years of age have ever been diagnosed with ADHD, as of 2007.
-
The percentage of children with a parent-reported ADHD diagnosis increased by 22% between 2003 and 2007.
-

-
Boys (13.2%) were more likely than girls (5.6%) to have ever been diagnosed with ADHD.
Clinic Experince has sown that most of the cases of ADHD or Autism are the results of undiagnosed allergies.
There are hardly any human diseases or conditions in which allergic factors are not involved directly or indirectly. Autism and ADHD are not any different. Clinic trial shows that most of ADHD individuals are suffering from various allergies.
Oriental medicine believes that allergies and allergy-based disorders are the results of long-term energy disturbances in the energy pathways. Severe allergic reaction can cause severe energy disturbance in one or more energy meridians (channels, or pathways).
Major illnesses, severe reaction to foods, drinks, drugs, bacterial toxins, chemicals, radiation, emotional stresses, etc., are capable of causing damage to the central and autonomic nerve fibers and inhibiting their conductivity. This poor conductivity, which makes nerve system not coordinate normally, causes allergy and allergy-related illnesses.
When the central, sympathetic, parasympathetic nerves are not coordinating well, the energy does not circulate properly and certain parts of the body get diminished energy and nutrient supply. When this happened, highly blocked area or weakest part of the body fails first. If the highly energy blocked or weakest part of the body happens to be the brain or any part of the brain, the abnormalities or poor function of the brain is seen. Then the person can demonstrate autistic disorders, and/or other neurological disorders.
Categories of Allergens:
Common allergens are generally classified into ninee basic categories; based primrily on the method of exposure, rather than the symptoms they produce. In a child with autism the first organ in the body that is affected is the brain and the typical symptoms of brain allergy are exhibited.
Inhalants are those allergens that are contacted though the nose, throat and bronchial tubes.
Ingestants are allergens, which are contacted through the mouth and find their way into the gastrointestinal tract; includs foods, condiments etc..
Contactants produce their effect by direct contact with the skin, such as fabric, cats, dogs, cosmatics, skin cream, soap, detergent etc..
Injectants: Allergens are injected into the skin, muscles, joints and blood vessels in the form of various serums, antitoxins, vacines, childhood immunizations, and drugs; also includs substances entering the body through insects bites.
Infactants are allergens that produce their effect causeing sensitivity to an infectious agent, such as bacteria.
Physical Agents: Heat, humid air, cold, cold mist, sun radiation, dampness, drafts, change in barometetri pressure, high altitute, air conditioning, other types of radiation like computer, microwave, X-ray, geopathic radiation, electrical and electromagnetic radiation, flurescent lights, radiation from cellular and cordless phones, and radiation from power lines ar irritants. Vibrations from a washer and dryer, hair dryer, electric shaver, massager, motion vibration from a moving automobile, motion sickness, sickness while playing sports, roller coaster rides and/or horseback riding are mechanical irritants. Airplane sounds, traffic noises, loud music and voices in a particular pitch may also cause allergic reactions.
Genetic Factors: Discovery of possible tendencies toward allergies carried from parents and grandparents open a large door to achieving optimum health.
Modls and Fungi are in a category by themselves because of the numerous avenues through which they can come into contact with people in everyday life. They can be ingested, inhaled, touched or even injected.
Emotional Factors: Various trypes of emotional allergies exists. We nned to recognize them and eliminated them to be healthy. Emotional blockages can happen due to allergies, which affect the emotioanl aspect of the eridian or organ. If blockages remain at the emotional level for a long period of time, they can begin to affect physical and physiological levels in the body, eventually turning into disease, thus this blockage are need to be removed.
